What is job shadowing?

Job shadowing supports clients in gaining a better understanding of a particular job/employment.

It is a form of training that allows an employee or potential employee/intern to follow another closely in their day-to-day activities in the workplace. The goal of the employee or potential employee/intern observing an employee, usually a senior employee, is to see how the latter perform their role. That, in essence, gives the observer an idea of the skills needed to perform that specific role and the processes that need to be followed, among other things.
